‘Sharing Success’ grant applications now being accepted
Jo-Carroll Energy is now seeking applications for Sharing Success grants. JCE will award up to three Sharing Success grants totaling $7,500 in 2021. Matching funds will be applied for through CoBank’s Sharing Success matching grant program, bringing the total possible grants to $15,000.To qualify for the grants, an organization must be a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, school or governmental entity such as as a police, fire or ambulance department and be located within the JCE service territory. Applications must also have a broad reach and impact for the community served.
Past recipients of the Sharing Success matching grant include: Savanna Fire Department, Galena Area Emergency Medical Service District, Thomson Chamber of Commerce, Fulton Police Department, Village of Chadwick/Chadwick Police Department, East Dubuque Fire Department, the Galena Arts & Recreation Center and Village of Thomson.

This years applications have been submitted. Applications are now open for April 1, 2021 deadline.

It is designed to celebrate the vital role that cooperatives play in individual communities across the country.
