Approximately 2,000 Jo-Carroll Energy members are without power in the East Dubuque area from what appears to be a transmission outage. Our transmission supplier, ITC, has crews en route. Jo-Carroll Energy crews are en route to assist also. Cause of the outage and estimated restoration time are not yet known.

Jo-Carroll Energy line crews are en route to investigate an outage on our York A, Circuit 1 serving the Riverview area between Thomson and Savanna.
Jo-Carroll Energy seeks nominees for three seats on board of directors
Three positions on Jo-Carroll Energy's Board of Directors will be filled during the 2014 election. Districts included are: District 3 now represented by Marcia Stanger of Apple River, District 6 now represented by Thomas Lundy of Savanna and District 9 now represented by Larry Carroll of Thomson.
Any Jo-Carroll Energy member residing in the district of a director whose term is expiring, including the incumbent director, may petition for nomination as director.
Oct. 6-12 is Public Natural Gas week, and Jo-Carroll Energy is using this week to educate our members and community about the benefits of having a cooperative-owned natural gas utility. Our natural gas service territory is located in portions of Carroll and Whiteside counties.
